Erik Burgerhout

Erik Burgerhout is a researcher currently employed at Nofima since June 2014, where past roles included postdoctoral research. Prior experience encompasses positions as a postdoctoral researcher at Leiden University from November 2012 to September 2013, and a researcher/PhD student at NewCatch B.V. and ZF-screens B.V. between 2011 and 2011. Erik began academic training as a junior researcher at Leiden University from 2007 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Animal Physiology from Leiden University (2009-2013) and a Master of Science in Biology from the same institution (2000-2006). Basic education was completed at Walburg College from 1993 to 2000.
