Marit Kvalvag Pettersen

Marit Kvalvag Pettersen is a seasoned Senior Research Scientist at Nofima, specializing in the packaging of food products with a focus on food safety and quality since May 2004. Additionally, Marit serves as a Research Scientist at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and holds the title of Adjunct Assistant Professor. Previous experience includes a role at Matforsk from May 1994 to April 2004, culminating in a PhD as a student in food packaging, specifically in packaging materials and food quality, at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Marit also holds a Master of Science degree in Polymer Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
