Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, expanding the customer base, and increasing sales to existing customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, to ensure efficient and effective sales processes.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving business goals.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the sales strategy and team performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Technology: Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
