Shane Houston

Shane Houston, Ph.D., is currently working as an Account Manager at Nonacus Ltd, supporting diagnostic and translational research NGS labs and genomic healthcare providers in the UK and Ireland. Previously, Shane worked as a Customer Solutions Manager at QIAGEN and as a Grade 4 Technician at Queen's University Belfast. Shane holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Queen's University Belfast, where Shane also completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences. Shane has a background in research, bioinformatics, pharmacology, and molecular biology, with experience in working with GPCR's, biosensor assays, and real-time live cell fluorescent assays. Additionally, Shane has previous experience in field sales, academia, and hospitality roles.
