Melissa Flores

Melissa Flores has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melissa started their career as an EnAct Program Intern at Madison Environmental Group, Inc. In 2010, they worked as an ILL Services Assistant at Wisconsin Library Services before transitioning to the role of Purchasing Associate at Wisconsin National Primate Research Center in 2011. Melissa then returned to Wisconsin Library Services as a Financial Specialist/Inter-Library Loan Services Assistant from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Melissa worked at American Family Insurance in various roles including Space and Relocation Specialist, Space & Relocation Analyst, Business & Workplace Services Department Assistant, and Workplace Sustainability Intern. Since 2017, they have been employed at Nordic Global, initially starting as an Associate Managed Services Analyst and progressing to Senior Analyst, Application Advisor, and currently Epic Security Team Lead. Melissa has gained experience in project management, sustainability initiatives, customer service, financial management, and security.

Melissa Flores obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011, with a focus on Biological Aspects of Conservation, Environmental Studies, and German. In 2015, they received a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the same university. Additionally, Melissa obtained a Masters Certificate in Sustainability Leadership from Edgewood College in 2013.
