Lukas Neuenschwander

Lukas Neuenschwander has diverse work experience in various fields. Lukas worked as a Summer Intern in Information Security Risk at Operational Risk and Control in Norges Bank Investment Management in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Cyber Security Consultant at mnemonic as, where they primarily worked on replacing the current system fetching indicators of compromise from the internet. Lukas also worked as a Technical Student in the Business Computing Group at CERN, where they extended an Enterprise Resource Planning-application developed by CERN itself. Additionally, Lukas has experience in student boards, serving as Vice-president and later as a member in the Student Board at Industri Energi from 2016 to 2019. Lukas also worked as a Teaching Assistant Tutor at Universitetet i Stavanger (UiS) from 2017 to 2018. Lukas started their professional journey as a nature-guide at Vadehavscentret in Denmark, where they spent a voluntary ecological year in 2015.

Lukas Neuenschwander's education history begins with their high school education at Gymnasium Mellendorf in Germany, where they obtained a General University Entrance Qualification (German Abitur) from 2006 to 2015. During this time, they focused on advanced courses in maths, physics, and biology.

In 2016, Lukas enrolled at the University of Stavanger in Norway, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Automation and Electronics Design. Lukas completed this program in 2019. Additionally, in 2018 and 2019, they participated in an Erasmus-Exchange program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, as part of their Bachelor's degree in Automation and Electronics Design.

After completing their Bachelor's degree, Lukas pursued further education at the University of Stavanger. From 2019 to 2021, they studied Data- og informasjonsvitenskap (Data and Information Science) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree (BS).

In terms of certifications, Lukas obtained the Cyber Intelligence Foundations certification from Mandiant in March 2022. Prior to that, in March 2021, they received the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification from the SANS Institute.

Looking ahead, Lukas is set to pursue a Master's degree in Digital Infrastructure and Cyber Security at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2022 to 2024.
