Ryan Grassel, CFA has worked at various companies in different roles throughout their career. Ryan started in 2014 as a Congressional Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2015, they worked as a Student Assistant at BI Norwegian Business School while pursuing their Master's degree. From 2011 to 2015, Ryan worked as an Assistant Tournament Director at the Northwest Indiana Junior Golf Association.
Ryan then joined the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where they served as a Student Athlete from 2012 to 2014. In 2018, they began their career in finance at Norges Bank Investment Management as an Analyst in Cross-Asset Trading. Ryan then transitioned to an Analyst position in Fixed Income Trading from 2020 to 2021. Ryan later became an Associate Trader in Fixed Income in 2021 and currently holds the role of Trader in Fixed Income starting in April 2022.
Ryan Grassel, CFA has a strong educational background with a focus on financial economics and finance. From 2015 to 2017, they attended BI Norwegian Business School and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Financial Economics. During this time, they also had an exchange semester at the University of Zurich, where they pursued an MSc in Finance.
Prior to their Master's degree, Ryan Grassel studied at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2012 to 2014. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with majors in Economics and Political Science. Additionally, they completed minors in Global Studies, Japanese, and Asian Studies.
Ryan Grassel has also obtained notable certifications. In February 2021, they completed the "Python Data Structures" course from Coursera. Furthermore, in August 2019, they passed the CFA Level II Exam, demonstrating their proficiency in investment analysis and portfolio management as awarded by the CFA Institute.
