Zekun Bao

Zekun Bao, CFA has diverse work experience in the financial industry. They currently work at Norges Bank Investment Management as an Associate Trader, a role they started in August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as an Analyst from September 2017 to August 2021.

Before joining Norges Bank, Zekun worked at Mizuho Financial Group as a Global Graduate Program Analyst from July 2016 to September 2017. In this role, they were responsible for improving a client's Free Cash Flow by structuring a reverse factoring program, engaging in client meetings to develop financing solutions, and enhancing the efficiency of inter-bank trade credit application using VBA scripting.

Zekun also gained experience at RBC Wealth Management as an Investment Products Summer Analyst from May 2015 to July 2015. During this time, they created training materials for Relationship Managers, amended Product Factsheets, and developed a Product Factsheet on Contingent Convertible Notes (CoCos).

Additionally, Zekun worked as a Summer Intern at UOB in 2014 and at UBS Wealth Management in 2013. Their earliest work experience was as a Medical Report Administrative Assistant at the Singapore Armed Forces from 2010 to 2012.

Zekun Bao, CFA, has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accountancy/Finance from the National University of Singapore, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, they also briefly attended HEC Montréal as part of their Bachelor's degree in Management and Finance. Prior to their university studies, Zekun attended Temasek Junior College from 2008 to 2009 to complete their GCE A Level. Additionally, they completed their GCE O-Level from 2005 to 2007 at Anglican High School. In January 2015, Zekun earned the CFA certification from the CFA Institute.
