Marc Watson

Marc Watson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical field. Marc is currently serving as the Senior Medical Director, Global Medical Affairs, Launch Brands at Norgine since May 2022. Prior to this, they were the Medical Director UKI & ANZ at Norgine UK & Ireland from June 2021 to May 2022. Marc also held the position of Chair of the FPM Ethics and Practice Committee at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine from September 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Norgine, Marc worked at GSK in various roles, including GSK UK Pipeline Medical Lead, GSK UK Pharma Portfolio Medical Affairs Manager, Area Medical Director Northern Europe GSK Consumer Healthcare, and GSK UK & Ireland Pharma Medical Safety Director. Marc contributed to the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine as a member of the FPM Policy and Communications Group from April 2017 to July 2020.

Marc's earlier experiences include working at Servier as a Pharmacovigilance & Medical Review Manager and serving as a General Practitioner at NHS England. Marc completed a GP Vocational Training Scheme and held roles as a Senior House Officer in various medical specializations.

Overall, Marc Watson has demonstrated expertise and leadership in medical affairs, medical safety, pharmacovigilance, and general medical practice throughout their career.

Marc Watson obtained a Bachelor of Medicine (Hons) degree from the University of Southampton in 2003. Marc has additional certifications including a Fellowship of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM), ABPI Final Medical Signatory, CCT in Pharmaceutical Medicine, Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine, Member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (MFPM), CCT in General Practice, and MRCGP.
