Markus Blome

Markus Blome has extensive work experience in various roles related to laboratory management, quality assurance, and development engineering. Markus served as the Head of Laboratory & Quality Assurance at Hydro Aluminium High Purity GmbH since May 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Development Engineer at Philips GmbH Business Center OLED Lighting from November 2006 to October 2015. From March 2003 to October 2006, they worked as a Technical Consultant Materials Science at Herzogenrather Dienstleistungzentrum für Schicht- und Oberflächentechnik GbR. Markus also has experience as a Research Assistant at Central Facilities for Electron Microscopy (RWTH Aachen University) from April 1996 to February 2003.

Markus Blome completed their education at RWTH Aachen University. Markus obtained a Diplom-Physiker degree in Physics from 1989 to 1996. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctorate in the field of study, completing their studies from 1996 to 2003 and obtaining a Dr. rer. nat. degree.
