Julio Zamora

Julio Zamora has a strong background in finance and investment management. Julio is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the North American Development Bank, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Citigroup for nearly a decade, where they held the roles of Managing Director and Director of Mexico Research.

Before joining Citigroup, Julio worked at BTG Pactual as an Equity Research Analyst, providing investment recommendations to institutional investors. Julio also gained valuable experience as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Torrey Associates / Cadogan Management, where they designed investment strategies and managed multiple funds of funds.

Julio has held senior positions at other prominent financial institutions, including Citigroup/Global Hedge Strategies, Morgan Stanley/Graystone Research, and Bassini Playfair Wright. Julio began their career at UBS and Booz Allen Hamilton, where they served as Vice President and Senior Associate, respectively.

Throughout their career, Julio has demonstrated a strong track record in portfolio management, business development, and financial analysis across various regions and sectors.

Julio Zamora holds a Master's degree in International Finance & Banking from Columbia | SIPA. Julio also obtained a Licenciatura in Economics from Universidad Anáhuac.
