Ncc Kaitlyn Schak

Kaitlyn Schak, NCC, is a dedicated school counselor at North Boone CUSD 200 since July 2014, focusing on the academic and social-emotional needs of students through individual meetings, peer mediations, and collaborative scheduling. With experience in facilitating guidance lessons, small group sessions, and organizing school events, Kaitlyn also plays a key role in college and career readiness initiatives. Prior to this role, Kaitlyn served as a Service Coordinator at Options and Advocacy, where responsibilities included facilitating IFSP meetings and supporting families navigating public school transitions. Additional experience includes a counseling internship at Prairie Ridge High School and case management roles at Countryside Association and Allendale Association, underpinned by strong academic credentials including an MS in Counseling from National Louis University and a BS in Family Consumer Nutrition Sciences from Northern Illinois University.
