Holly Westberg has an extensive work history in various roles within the fields of mental health, community treatment, member service, advocacy, and youth coordination.
Starting in 2009, Holly began their career as a Youth Coordinator at UW Extension, overseeing an after school program and providing support to students with projects and homework.
In 2013, Holly joined HAVEN Inc. as a Shelter Advocate, where they worked directly with women and children in the shelter, provided counseling and support, and assisted with administrative tasks such as answering phones and organizing fundraisers.
Simultaneously, Holly also worked at Park City Credit Union as a Member Service Specialist, where they engaged with members to address account issues and questions, filed paperwork, and suggested additional products or services to meet their needs.
In 2016, Holly transitioned to North Central Health Care as a Crisis Professional, working with individuals experiencing mental health and substance abuse concerns. This role involved collaboration with local law enforcement and providing assistance during crisis situations. Holly later became a Case Manager, coordinating resources and support for clients, before being promoted to the position of Lincoln/Langlade Youth and Adult Community Treatment Team Lead. Currently, Holly serves as the Manager of Youth and Adult Community Treatment at North Central Health Care.
Holly Westberg MA, MA, BS has a diverse educational background, with degrees in various fields of study. Holly started their higher education journey at Merrill High School, where they obtained a General High School Diploma in General Studies in the years 1998 to 2001.
In 2008, Holly pursued their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County, specializing in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Holly completed this degree in 2011.
Continuing their education, Holly enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, General.
Holly's passion for history led their to pursue further studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they obtained a Second Major in History.
To further enhance their expertise in the field of history, Holly pursued a Masters of History degree from Pittsburg State University, which they completed from 2015 to 2017.
Expanding their educational horizons, Holly pursued a Masters of Forensic Behavioral Health degree from Concordia University-St. Paul from 2018 to 2020, specializing in Human Services, General.
Currently, Holly is engaged in higher studies at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where they are pursuing a Doctor of International Psychology in International Psychology and Trauma. Holly began this program in 2021 and is expected to complete it in 2024.
