Chris Orlando

Chris Orlando is a seasoned professional in strategic communications and business development, currently serving as the Chief Planning and Communications Officer at North County Transit District since June 2021, leading marketing and advocacy for the agency. Chris founded Orlando & Associates, Inc. in December 2003, providing communications and business development services for various corporations and startups. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Rushmore Loan Management Services, Co-founder and Executive Vice President at Fit Pay, Inc., and Vice President of Communications and Investor Relations at NXT-ID Inc. Additionally, Chris has served in public service roles, including as a City Council Member in San Marcos, California, and as a Board Member for SANDAG and North County Transit District. Chris holds an MBA in International Business from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
