Ross Armour

Ross Armour is an experienced communications professional and current Unitary Authority Councillor for Oakley ward in Corby, serving residents in Danesholme, Oakley Vale, and Great Oakley since May 2021. Prior to this, Ross held the position of Copywriter Editor at the Motor Neurone Disease Association, where responsibilities included editing the quarterly magazine and writing across various communications channels. Ross has extensive experience in journalism, having worked as a Public Relations Officer at Bright Horizons UK, where Ross produced press releases and engaged with local media. Ross's journalism career began with reporting roles at Black Press, Glacier Media Inc., and the High River Times, focusing on diverse topics including municipal politics and sports. Ross completed a Diploma of Journalism at Langara College from 2011 to 2013.
