Lee Goss

Lee Goss has over 20 years of experience in the protective coatings and corrosion control industry. Lee started their career in surface preparation and coating application, gradually moving into supervision and inspection. Throughout their career, they have gained excellent experience in various sectors such as rope access, marine shipping, oil and gas, power stations, refineries, and civil engineering projects in the UK.

Lee has held roles such as client representative, vendor inspector, coatings control coordinator and inspector, QC coatings inspector, NACE Level 3 coatings and corrosion specialist, and coatings inspector/supervisor. Lee has also worked for companies like North Oil Company Qatar, L S GOSS LIMITED, CTS OFFSHORE AND MARINE, Allrig, MD Inspections Services, Rope Access Trade Solutions, 'N-ERGISE, and Oceaneering. Lee'sresponsibilities have included tasks such as punch list completion, vendor inspections, qualifications witness, compliance monitoring, corrosion surveys, auditing and inspections, and ensuring compliance with client procedures.

Lee Goss's education history begins in 1985 at Usworth, where they attended until 1991. They then moved on to Usworth Comprehensive, where they obtained Maths English and Design GCSE degree in Maths, English, and Design.

In addition to their formal education, Lee Goss has also obtained several certifications. In November 2011, they received Nace CIP Level 2 certification from Nace. In March 2014, they obtained the Peer Review Level 3 certification from NACE and also achieved Irata Level 3 certification from IRATA International. In April 2017, Lee Goss obtained the UAV pilot certification from CAA. They further acquired the MIST certification in January 2018 and the GWO certification in February 2018. Finally, in March 2020, they obtained the Oil Gas certs from OPITO.
