Mariano Gabriel Fernandez

Mariano Gabriel Fernandez is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Commissioning Site Leader for North Oil Company Qatar since February 2021, overseeing the Al-Shaheen Project, one of the largest oil fields globally. Prior to this role, Mariano held the position of Instruments Commissioning Leader at TotalEnergies from June 2016 to November 2019, where the focus was on the validation of functional tests and the commissioning of instrumentation. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Instrument Engineer at Total from June 2002 to August 2014, managing preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments for both onshore and offshore facilities. Mariano holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from UTN Río Grande and a degree as a Técnico ElectroMecanico from EPET N° 1 Río Grande.
