Olumide O.

Olumide O. has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Olumide began their career as a Research Chemist at DN Meyer PLC in 1999. Olumide then worked as a Junior Process Engineer at BA Soyode & Co in 2000.

In 2002, Olumide joined TotalEnergies and held various roles within the company. Olumide started as a Production Engineer and later became a Snr Process Engineer in the Developement Engineering department. Olumide then served as the Head of Facilities Handover and DCSL for the Usan Project, overseeing FPSO construction. Olumide was also the Head of Offshore Technical Support for the Usan FPSO, where they managed a team and provided technical expertise for production optimization and troubleshooting. Before leaving TotalEnergies, they served as a Site Manager and Offshore Installation Manager (RSES), responsible for managing production operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures on offshore platforms in Congo.

Most recently, Olumide joined North Oil Company Qatar in 2019 as the Head of Integrated Operations Planning. Olumide is responsible for leading the planning activities within the company.

Olumide O. has a diverse education history spanning from 1985 to 2015. Their educational journey began at the International School Ibadan where they completed their secondary education between 1985 and 1991. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Lagos from 1991 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. In pursuit of further specialization, Olumide attended Loughborough University from 2000 to 2001 where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Advanced Process Engineering. Continuing their education, they attended IFP School from 2003 to 2004 and earned a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development. Lastly, in 2015, they completed a Total University Business & Leadership Skills Development program at HEC Paris, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
