Sunit Shekhar

Sunit Shekhar has had a diverse range of work experiences in the oil and gas industry. Sunit began their career as a Petroleum Engineer at Cairn India Limited in 2010, where they worked until 2013. Following this, they joined Cairn Oil and Gas in 2014 and held various roles, starting as a Senior Reservoir Engineer from 2014 to 2017, then progressing to Lead Reservoir Engineer until 2021, and finally serving as a Principal Reservoir Engineer until 2023. Currently, Sunit is working as a Reservoir Engineer EOR at North Oil Company Qatar, starting from January 2023.

Sunit Shekhar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering at the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, from 2006 to 2010. Sunit then pursued further education and earned a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University between 2013 and 2014.
