Francois Louw has extensive work experience in the mining industry, with a focus on mine planning and consulting. Francois is currently employed as the Chief Mine Planner LTP at Northam Platinum, a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Mine Planner at the same company from December 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Northam Platinum, Francois was a Resource Planner at MODIKWA PLATINUM MINE from February 2020 to January 2022. Francois also served as a Senior Mining Consultant at Deswik from August 2018 to February 2020. Francois Louw studied Mine Surveying at the University of Johannesburg, where they obtained a National Diploma in 1997.
