Bernard Hili

Bernard Hili has extensive work experience in information security. Bernard is currently working as the Head of Information Security at both Northern Gas and Power and ClearVUE.Business. Prior to these roles, they served as a Senior Manager of Information Security at Ixaris - a Nium company from March 2022 to May 2023. Before that, Bernard worked as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Milkbox from April 2021 to March 2022. Bernard'searlier experience includes being a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Vodafone from July 2019 to April 2021, where they set up and managed asset inventory and vulnerability management programs, designed and deployed security appliances, and ensured compliance with PCI-DSS, NIST, and GDPR. Bernard also worked as an Information Security Engineer at Vodafone from June 2015 to June 2019, where they were responsible for various security tasks. Bernard began their career as a Junior Software Developer at Ixaris Systems Ltd in 2014, where they developed solutions related to data transformation and messaging bus. Bernard also gained experience as a Junior Software Developer at Lotto and Gaming Authority Malta in 2013 and as a Junior Programmer at HOB Software LTD in 2012.

Bernard Hili is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Information Security (MSc) at Royal Holloway, University of London, with an expected completion date in 2022. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) with first-class honors in Computing & Information Systems from the University of London, attending from 2011 to 2016.
