Additionally, they obtained a Trainer III For Those Who Help Others certification from Scouts Canada in the same year.

In 2021, Teresa pursued an Indigenous Canada Certificate from the University of Alberta, and they completed the program in the same year. Currently, in 2022, they are enrolled in the Four Seasons of Reconciliation program at the First Nations University of Canada.
