Mike Zurek

Mike Zurek has extensive work experience as a designer. Mike is currently working at NorthOne as a Lead Designer, a role they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NorthOne as a Senior Designer from December 2020 to February 2022, and as a Visual Designer from June 2019 to December 2020. In 2005, Mike started their own business, mikezurek.com, where they worked as a Graphic Designer and Art Director. Mike has comprehensive experience in branding, art direction, and design for print and digital media, working with clients in various sectors. Before that, Mike worked as an Art Director at 6degrees Integrated Communications from April 2017 to March 2019, where they collaborated with clients in retail and digital marketing, creating online content and directing videos. From November 2013 to March 2017, Mike worked as an Art Director at The Collective, Inc. Mike also had a freelance role as a Graphic Designer at The Collective, Inc. from January 2013 to November 2013. Additionally, Mike worked at Kobo Inc. as a Graphic Designer from September 2012 to January 2013.

Mike Zurek attended HackerYou College of Technology in 2018, where they studied UX Design. Prior to that, they pursued a Graphic Design program at Seneca College from 2002 to 2005, earning an Ontario College Advanced Diploma. In 2000 to 2001, they obtained an Ontario College Certificate in Art Fundamentals from Sheridan College.
