Alec Garcia

Alec Garcia is an experienced aeronautical engineer currently working at Northrop Grumman on the Strike program since September 2024. Prior to this role, Alec served as the Thrust Vector Control Responsible Engineer and Aerospace Engineer at the USC Liquid Propulsion Laboratory from September 2022 to May 2024, and as a Cable and Harness Engineer on the Next Gen OPIR Polar program at Northrop Grumman during a summer internship. Alec has a strong background in tutoring and instructional support at California State University, Los Angeles, where contributions included enhancing student success in engineering courses and training peer tutors. Additional experience includes managing engineering projects at Boeing, Barksdale Control Products, and Proficia Robotics, alongside a robust educational foundation with a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.
