Maggy Lau

Maggy Lau is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in materials science and extensive leadership in research and development. Currently serving as the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead at Northrop Grumman since May 2020, Maggy Lau has previously held senior roles at HRL Laboratories and Spectrolab, where key responsibilities included leading cross-functional projects, conducting process qualifications, and implementing Lean manufacturing practices. Maggy Lau has developed innovative metal contact structures, resulting in significant improvements in solar cell survivability, and has been granted patents for these advancements. Additionally, Maggy Lau has experience in academia as a part-time professor at Moorpark College, teaching introductory materials sciences. Maggy Lau holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Irvine.
