Warren Licht

Vice President, Ambulatory Operations at Northwell Health

An expert clinician with many years of experience in the fields of primary care, preventive medicine and international travel medicine, Dr. Licht serves as Vice President of Ambulatory Operations for Northwell’s western region as well as Medical Director for the Medicine Service line. In this role, he focuses on outpatient clinical operations, business development and ambulatory care strategies.

Dr. Licht also serves as Director of Medical Affairs at Lenox Health Greenwich Village, which opened in 2014, featuring NYC’s first freestanding emergency department, and is a medical staff member at Lenox Hill Hospital. As an internist and member of Northwell Health Physician Partners, he attends patients from his office on upper Park Avenue, on Manhattan’s East side and on West 20th Street in the Chelsea neighborhood.

During his medical career, Dr. Licht spent nearly eight years as Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs at New York Downtown Hospital in Lower Manhattan, where he oversaw all clinical operations.

Dr. Licht has served as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Cornell’s Weill Medical College, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the New York University School of Medicine and he is currently an Assistant Professor at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership, and the medical societies of the State of New York and New York County.
