Michelle Zimmerman

Michelle Zimmerman has extensive experience in educational leadership and technology integration, currently serving as the Director of Innovative Teaching and Learning Sciences at Renton Prep since July 2001. With roles including Administrative Team member, educator, educational researcher, and technology coordinator, Michelle has played a crucial part in expanding high school offerings and leading a 1:1 laptop program for middle school. Additionally, Michelle has contributed as a Professional Learning Specialist for the Northwest Council for Computer Education, an Adjunct Faculty member at Concordia University Wisconsin, and serves in multiple advisory roles including the Teacher Professional Education Advisory Board at the University of Washington. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Learning Sciences and Human Development from the University of Washington, Michelle's expertise also includes advocating for technology in education through partnerships with Microsoft and providing professional development in educational research.
