Joel Benware

Joel Benware has extensive experience in information technology and compliance management. Joel began their career as the Director of Technology at Gaston County Schools in 2004 and then served as the Chief Technology Officer at Albany College of Pharmacy from 2003 to 2006. Subsequently, they worked as the Chief Information Officer at Alice Hyde Medical Center from 2006 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Information Systems and Compliance at Northwestern Medical Center since 2013.

Joel Benware holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Champlain College, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, they attained an MA degree in Media Technology from Appalachian State University between 2003 and 2005. In 1995, Joel achieved a BA degree in Political Science and Secondary Education from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
