Michele Hoover

Michele Hoover, FACHE, currently serves as the Clinical Effectiveness & Quality Director and Performance Excellence Director at Norton Healthcare since June 2023. In addition, Michele has been an Assistant Professor of Healthcare Engineering at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences since October 2014. Prior roles at Mayo Clinic from May 2007 to October 2022 include various leadership positions within the Strategy Department, focusing on strategic projects, quality improvement, and management engineering services. Michele's earlier career includes significant contributions at GE Healthcare as a Senior Manager and Master Lean Leader, and key roles at Mercedes-Benz USA, GP Strategies Corporation, Toyota, and Rieter Automotive, demonstrating extensive expertise in organizational development, healthcare consulting, and process improvement methodologies. Michele holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
