Fares El Tin

Fares El Tin is currently working as a Planning and Control Programmer at Shearwater Aerospace since August 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions such as Robotics Teaching Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology, System Dynamics Teaching Assistant at the same institution, and Development Engineer (CO-OP) at Pictometry International Corp. with a focus on a sense and avoid system for UAVs. Fares also worked as a Tutor in STEM areas at TRiO Student Support Services and as a Robotics Research Assistant at the SMART Laboratory in RIT. They hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, a Master's degree from RIT, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from RIT as well.
