Erinc Bahcegul

Erinc Bahcegul is a research professional with extensive experience in sustainable materials and biopolymer processing. Currently serving as Research Team Leader at Notpla since October 2022, Erinc Bahcegul leads initiatives focusing on developing sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics derived from seaweeds. Previous roles include Senior Research Scientist at Notpla, where Erinc Bahcegul developed compostable packaging films, and Assistant Professor at Konya Food and Agriculture University, emphasizing biopolymer processing techniques. Erinc Bahcegul's academic foundation includes a PhD and MS in Biotechnology, along with a BS in Chemical Engineering and a high school diploma from Tarsus American College.
