Amber Ballard

Amber Ballard has a diverse work experience history that includes roles in communications, public relations, social media, and marketing. Amber is currently the Director of Communications at the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, Amber worked at FireKeepers Casino Hotel, where they served as the PR & Social Media Manager from November 2020 to March 2023. Before that, they held the position of Public Relations & Social Media Coordinator from September 2016 to November 2020 and Social Media Administrative Specialist from October 2014 to September 2016. Their responsibilities at FireKeepers Casino Hotel included communication with guests, managing social media and digital marketing campaigns, coordinating the marketing calendar, creating content for the company website and mobile app, and providing administrative support. Additionally, Amber has experience as a Marketing Administrative Assistant and a Players Club Representative at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. Amber also completed a College Relations Internship at Olivet College from January 2010 to May 2012.

Amber Ballard attended The University of Olivet from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism Mass Communication & History. During the same period, they also attended Olivet College and earned a B/A degree in Journalism/Mass Communication and History.
