Sierra Simmons is an experienced professional with a strong background in human resources and food sovereignty. Currently serving as the Food Sovereignty Coordinator at the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi since March 2018, Sierra previously held roles as HR Generalist and HR Career Track Administrator from 2012 to March 2017, where important contributions included developing a job skills database and administering the NHBP Job Bank Program for Tribal Members. Sierra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Kellogg Community College.
