Barry Chaffin

Barry Chaffin has a strong background in laboratory operations and management. Barry is currently the owner and managing founder of Nova Analytic Labs, where they focus on creating cannabis testing labs that prioritize product safety and industry legitimacy. In this role, they emphasize quality results, quick turnaround, and the impact on consumers. Before starting their own business, Barry served as the managing partner at Tox Design Group, LLC, where they specialized in starting new toxicology physician office laboratories (POLs) and reference laboratories. During their time at Central Tox, LLC, they worked as the VP of Operations and Partner, overseeing the implementation of a urine and saliva drug testing facility. Barry also has experience as a clinical lab consultant, analytical operations manager at Alere, Inc., and Capital Toxicology. Earlier in their career, they worked as an analyst and analytical chemist at World Wide Clinical Trials/Cedra and Trace Analysis, respectively.
