Job description

The Mentorship Program Director will lead the NOVA Bulls Mentorship Program which is designed to support students in their academic and professional pursuits. In this role, they will be expected to develop, manage and implement the mentorship program with a focus on creating meaningful relationships between participants.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Recruiting and onboarding mentoring volunteers from the NOVA Bulls pro-team
  • Developing mentorship program resources, training, and materials
  • Organizing mentorship events such as workshops, seminars, and mentorship circles
  • Creating mentee profiles for incoming students
  • Coordinating mentorship activities for youth and adolescents as they progress through the mentorship program
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the mentorship program
  • Assessing the effectiveness of mentoring activities
  • Ensuring that mentoring sessions are conducted in a professional manner and follow best practices
  • Identifying areas for improvement within the mentorship program and implementing strategies to address these issues
  • lead the organization’s initiative driving the important conversation around mental health and sharing resources for all members of the NOVA Bulls Organization family to help identify and navigate mental health challenges, strengths and opportunities.
