Mitchell Shiver

Mitchell Shiver has a significant work experience in the software development and analytics field. Mitchell currently holds the position of Data Analytics Software Director at Nova Measuring Instruments since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Software Development at Onto Innovation from October 2019 to June 2020, and at Nanometrics from April 2016 to October 2019. Mitchell also has experience working at Illumina, AOptix Technologies, and KLA-Tencor, where they held various managerial and engineering roles. Additionally, they served as a Major in the 3rd Brigade 40th Infantry Division and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at DNA Sciences.

Mitchell Shiver holds a BSETT degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry University, which they obtained from 1987 to 1990. Mitchell later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Santa Clara University from 1997 to 2003. In 2011 to 2012, Mitchell attended UC San Diego for Executive Education in Executive Perspective for Scientists and Engineers (EPSE). In 2015, they completed the Digital Executive Program at Singularity University, focusing on Disruptive Technologies. Additionally, Mitchell has obtained several certifications, including Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2012, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS in August 2020.
