Kate Pingel has a diverse work experience in the field of Occupational Therapy. Kate started their career as a Teacher/Case Manager at The New England Center for Children in 2002. Kate then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2006 before becoming an Adjunct Instructor at the same university from 2006 to 2007. Kate then worked as an Occupational Therapist at Holding Hands Pediatric Therapy and Diagnostics from 2007 to 2009 and at Can Do Kids, Inc. from February 2009 to September 2009. Kate later transitioned to Fourt Therapy Center, which then became PlaySteps for Developing Kids, where they worked as an Occupational Therapist from October 2009 to August 2014. Kate joined Bright Path Therapists in August 2014 and remained there until July 2017, serving as an Occupational Therapist. Currently, they are working as a Lead Occupational Therapist at Novato Unified School District since August 2017.

Kate Pingel completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Smith College in 2002. Kate then went on to earn their Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2006.
