Alison Chartan

Alison Chartan is currently the Senior Director of Corporate Communications & Media Relations at Novavax, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of External Communications at Novavax from May 2021 to April 2023. Before joining Novavax, Alison worked as a Vice President at Signal Group DC from March 2019 to May 2021. Alison also held various roles at Weber Shandwick, including Vice President from March 2018 to February 2019, Director from February 2017 to March 2018, Group Manager from October 2015 to February 2017, Account Supervisor from June 2014 to October 2015, and Senior Account Executive from June 2013 to June 2014. Alison began their career as an Assistant Account Executive/Account Executive at Chandler Chicco Agency from January 2011 to May 2013 and as a Graduate Trainee from July 2010 to December 2010. Alison also worked as a Marketing Intern at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research from June 2009 to August 2009. Prior to that, they gained experience as an intern for Nick Jr. Magazine and WCBS Newsradio 880-AM in 2008.

Alison Chartan completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The George Washington University in 2017 and their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 2010, with a double major in English and Communications.
