KK Hamilton, PharmD, has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical field. From 2008 to 2010, KK worked as a Clinical Lab Scientist at Saint Luke's Health System. Following this, KK served as a Student Pharmacist at Balls Price Chopper, where they completed their introductory and advanced pharmacy practice rotations. From 2009 to 2011, KK also worked as a Student Intern at Target Pharmacy, assisting guests with insurance claims and prescription filling.
In 2011, KK joined the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) as a Researcher at the School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration. In 2016, KK joined ProPharma Group as a Senior Medical Information Specialist, responsible for providing medical and safety information to consumers and healthcare professionals. They also performed research, wrote custom responses, and served as a trainer/mentor to colleagues.
KK's most recent position is at Novavax, where they have held roles as a Global Medical Information Senior Manager and a Global Medical Information Associate Director. Details about these roles are currently ongoing.
KK Hamilton, PharmD, completed a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2013. Prior to that, KK obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Medical Laboratory Science from The University of Kansas in 2004. Additionally, KK holds various certifications, including being a licensed pharmacist in both Missouri and Kansas.
