Susan Johnson

Susan Johnson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Susan began their career in 1999 at Fidelity Investments, where they held the role of Director/VP of Marketing & Communications. Susan played a significant role in the growth of a subsidiary company, contributing to its success as it became a $250+ million business. Susan then joined Maximum Design & Advertising, Inc. as the Director of Communications/PR, where they served from 2006 to 2010.

In 2010, Susan started their own independent marketing business called Sakisaki Marketing, where they acted as the Principal and Marketing & Communications Consultant. During this time, they provided a wide range of services, including market research, strategic planning, brand development, and event production.

Susan joined Red Hat in 2015, initially as the North America Sr. Field Marketing Manager, and later as the Sr. Field Marketing Leader for the North America Southeast Region. In these roles, they were responsible for the overall marketing health of the region and developed strategic marketing initiatives for Strategic and Enterprise SaaS accounts. Susan played a key role in the design and implementation of regionally-based account-based marketing strategies.

Currently, Susan holds the position of Head of Marketing, USA at Novidea, a role created specifically for their to oversee the U.S. market.
