Dave Blazina

Dave Blazina serves as the Vice President and Lead Brand Counsel at Novocure since December 2016, after previously holding the position of Counsel at Novo Nordisk from September 2009 to December 2016, where responsibilities involved promotional and contract review, labeling guidance, strategic planning, and risk assessments for both in-market and pre-market drug and device products. Prior to this, Dave was an Associate at Hogan & Hartson LLP, focusing on FDA regulatory matters for medical device companies, and also served as a Technology Transfer Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, negotiating agreements for the NIH/NCI. Early experience includes an internship at the National Institutes of Health, where research in basic science involved data collection and analysis. Dave holds a JD in Health Law, Intellectual Property and FDA Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, a DDS from the University of Maryland Baltimore, a BS in Physiology/Neurobiology, and a BA in Russian History from the University of Maryland.
