Daniel K. Nishida

Daniel K. Nishida has experience in various leadership roles in procurement and supply chain management. Daniel K. started their career at ISUZU MOTORS ASIA LIMITED as an Assembly line worker trainer. Daniel K. then worked at BD as an Export Analyst and at Schering Pharmaceuticals as an Import and Export Supervisor. Daniel K. later joined Sika, where they served as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for the LATAM region and then as a Global Material Group Manager for Stabilizers and Other Additives. Afterwards, they worked at LafargeHolcim as an Americas Category Manager for Raw Materials, a Global Category Manager for Raw Materials, a Head of Category Management for the Americas, and a Senior Procurement Director for North America. Daniel K.'smost recent role was at Compass Minerals, where they held the positions of Senior Procurement Director - Americas and U.K, and Vice President and Head of Global Procurement. Currently, they are the Vice President of Procurement at Novolex. Throughout their career, they have implemented new operating models, developed procurement strategies, managed budgets, and led cross-functional teams.

Daniel K. Nishida completed their education with a Post graduation degree in Logistics Management from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 2001 to 2005. Daniel K. also holds a Technical High-School degree in Computer Programming/Programmer, General from E.T.E. Fernando Prestes, which they completed from 1995 to 1997.
