Allison Peries started their work experience as a Supported Employment Associate at the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Western New York in 1996. Allison then worked as a Graduate Assistant/Salle d'ordinateur at the University at Buffalo School of Management from 1997 to 1998. Allison continued their research work as a Management Information Systems Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo (UB) from 1998 to 1999. Allison then became a Usability Engineer at GE Transportation from 1999 to 2000. Allison then worked as a UX Designer at Vanguard from 2000 to 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they were a UX Designer at Publicis Sapient. Allison also took on the role of Editor & English Teacher as a freelancer from 2006 to 2012. Allison joined Capgemini Engineering in 2012 as a UX Designer and held several roles within the company, including Senior UX Designer at Orange from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are working at Novolyze as a UX Design Lead, leading the UX team in the design of a new application for food health and safety processes.

Allison Peries obtained a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and International Business Management from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, from 1997 to 1999. Allison also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Health & Human Services from the University at Buffalo, earned between 1991 and 1995. Additionally, they participated in the Paris Study Abroad Program at SUNY Brockport in 1994. Allison has obtained several certifications, including La Fresque du Climat from Capgemini Engineering in 2022, e-BOOTCAMP Design Thinking - Certification from Frenchfutureacademy in 2021, Basiques du Green IT, and Ecoconception de Services Numériques from Capgemini Engineering in 2021, among others.
