Katheryne Wilson

Director, In Vivo Research at Novome Biotechnologies

Katheryne Wilson has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and academia. Katheryne is currently serving as the Associate Director of In Vivo Research at Novome Biotechnologies, starting in August 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Heluna Health as a Contact Tracing Lead and Supervisor from September 2020 to July 2021. Before entering the industry, Katheryne held multiple positions at Stanford University, including Instructor from August 2017 to September 2020 and Postdoctoral Fellow from June 2012 to August 2017. Katheryne pursued their PhD at the University of Texas at Austin, where they worked as a PhD Candidate and Graduate Research Assistant from August 2008 to July 2012, as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2008 to May 2009. Earlier in their career, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at The University of Washington from September 2006 to May 2008, and as a Research Intern at Nastech Pharmaceutical from May 2007 to September 2007.

Katheryne Wilson has a solid education background in the field of biomedical engineering. Katheryne obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Katheryne then pursued further studies at The University of Texas at Austin, where they completed their Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E) in Biomedical Engineering from 2008 to 2010. Katheryne continued their academic journey at the same institution, acquiring a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Overall, they have a comprehensive educational background in the field, demonstrating their dedication and expertise in biomedical engineering.
