Ashley Boal

Ashley Boal is a Senior Research Associate in the Justice & Prevention area at WestEd, a position held since October 2013, having transitioned from Research Associate. Prior experience includes a Research Associate role at George Washington University, managing data and contributing to a randomized controlled trial on smoking cessation. Previous internships include a Graduate Policy Intern at the American Psychological Association and a Graduate Student Summer Associate at the RAND Corporation, focusing on various public health and policy issues. With extensive research background, Ashley has also served as a Graduate Instructor and Research Assistant at Portland State University, and held multiple research assistant roles at UC Irvine, acquiring advanced degrees in Psychology and Applied Social and Community Psychology from Portland State University.
