Anupama Kozhiyalam

Scientist I- Fermentation at NovoNutrients

Anupama Kozhiyalam has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field. In 2010, they began as a Parttime Researcher at SASTRA University. In 2011, they worked as a Summer Internship at Jawaharlal Nehru University. From 2012-2013, they were a Summer Research Fellowship Program at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. In 2017, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. From 2018-2021, they worked as a Lecturer and Research Associate at San Jose State University. Currently, they are a Research Intern at Stanford University School of Medicine and will be starting as a Scientist I- Fermentation at NovoNutrients in 2022.

Anupama Kozhiyalam is currently pursuing a Master of Biotechnology from San Jose State University, specializing in Stem Cell Internships for Laboratory Based Learning Program Sponsored by CIRM (2020-2022). Prior to that, they completed a Master of Technology - MTech in Industrial Biotechnology from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Industrial Biotechnology from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Reserch Academy (SASTRA), Thanjavur (2009-2013). In 2021, they also completed a Human Embryonic Stem Cell training program at Stanford University School of Medicine.
