Felicia Scott, PhD has worked in various research and teaching roles throughout their career.
Felicia began their work experience as a Laboratory Technician at Novozymes from March 2009 to December 2013.
Felicia then pursued their education at Virginia Tech, where they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January to May 2014, and as a Graduate Student Researcher from May 2014 to May 2017.
Following their education, they returned to Novozymes in January 2018 as a Research Engineer II, and later became a Team Lead/Senior Research Engineer in November 2020, a position they currently hold.
Felicia Scott, PhD, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Virginia Tech. Felicia completed their doctoral studies from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their Ph.D., Felicia earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they pursued from 2012 to 2015. Felicia also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Virginia Tech, where they studied between 2004 and 2008.
