Software Engineer at Noze

Mohammad Akbarzadeh, MASc., has a range of work experience in software engineering and computer vision research. Mohammad is currently working as a Software Engineer at Noze since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at M3 Tech from November 2021 to September 2022.

From 2019 to 2020, Mohammad was a Research Assistant (Mitacs) at Hydro Québec, where they focused on computer vision research. Mohammad designed an automated framework for monitoring safety on power substation projects by detecting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Mohammad also developed a technique to locate construction entities using a single-camera approach.

Before that, from 2018 to 2020, Mohammad worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Concordia University. Mohammad mentored student groups in project cost estimation and designed a three-story building for educational purposes, considering the efficient utilization of materials.

Mohammad Akbarzadeh, MASc., completed their education in a sequential manner. Mohammad began their academic journey in 2014 at Islamic Azad University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. From 2018 to 2020, they studied at Concordia University, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering. Building on their previous educational accomplishments, in 2021, they attended Concordia University once again and obtained a Diploma of Education with a specialization in Full-stack development.
