Leora Hanser is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development, advocacy, and strategic partnerships across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at NPR since February 2021, Hanser previously held the same title at the U.S. Soccer Foundation and served as SVP of Partnerships at National Geographic. Other significant roles include Chief of Staff at the Mayor's Office of Strategic Partnerships, Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation, and Director of Campaigns & Advocacy at Save the Children UK. Hanser's earlier positions also include leadership roles at the Hansard Society and Help the Aged, as well as Executive Director of the New Democracy Project. Hanser earned an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science from Barnard College.
