Leong Woo Yan serves as the Regional Data Manager at NS BlueScope since March 2021, leading data literacy initiatives and overseeing data projects within the organization. Prior to this role, Leong was the Regional VP of Data & Strategy at Kaodim from November 2017 to February 2021, where responsibilities included driving a data-driven culture and developing the company's transformation roadmap. Leong's earlier experience includes serving as the Head of Data Analytics for Consumer Lines at Chubb, focusing on performance enhancement through data analysis, and as a Data Scientist at Digi Telecommunications, where projects involved advanced data science techniques for revenue enhancement and customer retention. Leong holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the National University of Singapore, which was completed between 1999 and 2002.
